Canvas Viewer is a macOS file viewer published by Roobooto K.K. It helps you browse files and folders that you choose on your own Mac.
Processed locally on your device: files and folders you open, local preferences and recent folders, security-scoped bookmarks, local preview or thumbnail cache, and local diagnostic logs.
Limited network access: the app may retrieve a small public app notice file from a Roobooto web address to show an in-app notice or version message. This is not used to upload your files, create an account profile, or sync your library.
We do not: require an account, operate a cloud sync service for this app, intentionally upload the contents of the files you open to Roobooto servers, include advertising SDKs, or sell personal data.
File changes: ordinary browsing does not change your files. Changes happen only when you explicitly choose an action such as rename, Finder tag editing, delete, or image rotation write-back for supported image files.
